integra obd2 harness pin out question
Up until now, I have relied on the resource on this site to finally complete my swap. This is where I encounter some problem and I am giving in to starting a post. Hopefully this will make it clear for future reference.
Car: 1992 Honda Civic Cx
Engine: 99 Integra GSR.
The story is I got the complete donor car, so everything was used. Only thing i scout out is a obd1 gsr ecu(p72).Now I am stumped upon search after search on the pinout of the obd2 harness. I just want to ask if anyone knows which wire on the harness is for the IAB and the Knock Sensor. I know I can run a wire directly from the plug to the ecu, but I want a clean finish like repining from the shock tower and bring it directly to the cabin. Hope I am not being too confusing.

Re: integra obd2 harness pin out question
Thanks for that reply. I have seen that ecu pinout. I'm looking for the one on the harness shock tower. So i used the obd2 gsr harness. From what I've read, people say, use the evap purge solenoid plug and plug it into the IAB sensor and switch A20 to A17. Do this applies to using the integra harness or the stock harness that comes with the car? Maybe I am wrong but the plug I'm getting is 2 completely different plug(Evap Purge & IAB) and would not mate to each other.

Do you have a voltmeter that measures continuity? If so I would see which pin the IAB plug goes to on the shock tower connector of the Integra harness. The IAB has one wire on the top of the plug, this is the wire you are looking for that goes to the shock tower. The other wire on the bottom should be a shared ground. Do this as well for the knock sensor wire. Then where ever the corresponding wire on the civic dash side of the shock tower harness is run a wire from there to the corresponding ECU location. This way it'll look factory and you won't have to worry about the IAB/EVAP issue.
