quick question on wire harness???
the car(92-95 civic cx) comes equiped with obd1.
the ordeal is that we are swaping out the motor for a 2000 gsr motor. the motor comes with the obd2 engine harness intact.
? is can we just plug the obd2 engine harness right into the harness of the car(obd1) going in to the ecu and be working perfectly fine?
^^trying to get the motor barred, but for obd1, NOT obd2.

yes, I think there may be some extra plugs on the shock tower harness but it'll work

we are going to pin a wire from the ecu to the shock tower, then just pluging in the obd2 harness to it.
^^that should work right? i think so...
if im not mistaken... " This is a key ingredient in getting an OBD2 engine to work in an OBD1 vehicle. The Honda geniuses were cool enough to make the US OBD2 integra engine wire harness backwards-compatible with OBD1 vehicles. "
^^that is my answer
