Re: b18b1 swap ef 89 civic hatch
Is the check engine light on? Did this just start happening or has it done it since the swap? What ECU are you using? What distributor are you using? What injectors? What is your trim of your hatch DX, STD, SI, etc?

The check engine light is on. I'm using a pr4 ecu. I don't know what dizzy or injectors I have. Most likely they are the stock ones. And I'm getting engine code 14 from the ecu. Yesterday I took off the iacv cleaned it a little bit. It was very dirty. And I don't know which body style hatch I have but I know its not an Si. The cars been acting up since the swap was done. I actually bought the car like this 2 weeks ago as a project car.

It won't allow me to upload any pics. But I'm getting code 14 from the ecu. A lot of my Honda buddies keep telling me all different types of answers. I just want to find out the exact problem. Get it fixed. So I can start getting my EF ready for Honda day and for the streets.

Yes and I cleaned out the iacv . with a towel and q tips as best as I could. Then hit with a little bit of alcohol on the q tips to thorolly clean it out. But there was no difference from before or after.
