I recently put a tranny back in my EF hatch and started it up for the first time in about a month and a half. I have a check engine light that stays on...doesnt flash at all. Also, when i am about mid-throttle...the car will sometimes jerk. Any ideas?

B18A in 90 hatch.

 

Bump for some help...i know one or two of you have experienced this. I'm told it may be the fuel pump relay.

 

ok, is it a DX or Si hatch? the check engine light may not blink but does the light on the ECU blink? could be ignition, fuel, were there any wiring changes made?

 

what does the ecu show ?

 

ecu is a PR4. wiring hasnt been touched...to my knowledge. but i didnt do the original mpfi conversion.

 

what does the ecu blink when the cel goes on

 

havent checked...i'll do that in the AM and let you know.
