ERL Performance
The car is wanting mad boost. As soon as I can get my order in for two drums of C16 next month I am going to get the car ready for spring. I am thinking of seeing just how far the turbo set-up is going to go before the turbo just blows air. HEHE Just blows air. But you know what I mean and that is all that counts.

They had the car ready in about 6 months the first time. I decided to have them take it to SEMA 05 so that took till December to figure on sending the car back to me through that decision. At that point I wanted some more power from the car and to have a more than two year reliability factor. So off the motor went to ERL Performance (which I might add is the way to go when it comes to a built motor. They took great care of me and even though the motor was going through Full-Race they talked with me on all the details in well, detail.) The head went to Headgames motorworks and the rest of it was done soley by Full-Race and Tony From T1racedevelopmenet for the tune. With this in process it took about another four months. So with total time it was about 1 year give or take. All from what was happening to the car. Lots and Lots of fun.

Funny you should ask. I let him take off first each time just to make sure. He even spent one race on my friend with his SR 240. The SR240 just barely lost to him. Giving me the nod that he was trying but just didn't have it.

any reason the battery was not relocated to the trunk?
after adding all that weight to the nose, i would try to balance the car (weight-wise)
great looking work.

With everything that has been changed on the car it will need a four corner balance to get things right. The battery isn't the only thing changed on the car to change weight. The list is about 20 things different than stock that have effected the weight. However it doesn't seem to handle all to different than before. Man I love small island roads.

I can say you made the right moves on the build though. I was just about to order the Stage 2 FR kit and have Dan over at First State send a spare block he had at the shop to ERL for a complete build. I was going to send my head to headgames as they are only 20 minutes away from me. That went down the drain though, I crashed it a week after I decided to boost it. Good thing I didnt order anything.

Working on boosting my 2006 G35 coupe right now. Need to pay off some bills first. Geoff needs to make a FR kit for the G35 instead of favoring Hondas so much. There are alot of guys with G35's that are going boost because they make rediculous power on such little boost. Guys on 7PSI making 450+RWHP and 400+RWTQ, stupid power in a RWD car. I'm stuck buying a Greddy kit though considering it is one of the best kits for the G35. Jim wolf is another awesome kit.

Well, good luck with your setup and I hope you have a blast with it bro. S2K's make sick power as well, torqueless though like every other honda in the world. LOL
