Hey there. I have an Accord trunk popper wired into my stock alarm system on my 1998 Prelude, and a few days ago my locks started acting up. Shortly after my trunk popper stopped working (use the option key on alarm clicker). I had the solenoid on the door locks replaced, but the trunk popper still doesn't work.

I have since replaced the entire run of wire from the trunk to the alarm, and I can't get it to work. When I cross the wires (just give the trunk popper 12 volts from the power source) it pops open, but when everything is plugged into the relay, nothing happens when I hold the option key.

I am not sure what is wrong, but I tried replacing the relay and haven't had any success.

Anyone have any ideas? The alarm is working perfectly in every other respect. The option key works when i switch between silent mode and chirping mode. The alarm locks, unlocks, and autolocks/arms. All of the fuses are fine that I can see.

I'd appreciate any ideas or suggestions!

This happen to me because I just stuck the wire into the harness and taped it down. Whenever this happen I just move the wire around a bit and it will works again. Anybody know where I can get the pins that will fit in there.
