H22 LSD Vs. Non-LSD Tranny
Ok i know the difference between LSD and non-LSD but my question is, what is the power difference? is it really noticable or am i wasting my time changing over?

An LSD wont' increase your power at all. In fact, with the extra drivetrain components you may lose some power (not noticeable). What they do is provide better traction by forcing both front wheel to spin.
It will also help handling in turns.

from what i hear,... if you get the m2b4 (lsd version) and you break the lsd... a quaife WILL NOT fit in the transmission... so you are stuck with a broken transmission.. but you can put a quaife in the standard non lsd tranny

correct for M2B4 only...other LSD trannies are swappable (Euro-R,Type-R, S-Spec)

Crap I knew I should've kept a link to that other thread.
Satan- wasn't there a thread where the guy said he fit a quaife into his m2b4 withotu a problem?

Re: H22 LSD Vs. Non-LSD Tranny (DarkKnight1)
I have seen two versions of supposed M2B4 transmissions. One had a LSD that looked like a cylinder, and the other had a lsd that was more like a quaife with a tapered housing past the ring gear. The ring gear was different and would not bolt to a quaife, but I think a quaife would fit in that version of the transmission if you could find a ring gear for it. The transmission with the bulkier LSD looked like it had a different housing.
