Default LSD vs non-LSD?

So whats the difference between LSD and non-LSD?
I heard LSD is more for drifting? and that LSD is better for manual cars
What would make you choose LSD over non-LSD or vice versa?

it doesnt sound like you even know what an lsd is
lsd=limited slip differential

if your lookin for a performance minded car, you definitly want a lsd equipped car
a 1.5 helical type lsd is great for front wheel cars, like our hondas, and its what comes in itr transmissions

when goin straght it will deliver power evenly to both the front wheels, with no lsd it will not it will give power to what ever wheel is not spinning pretty much

when turning it help to distribute power to the inner and outer wheels to help you turn much better, with more traction

even if your not lookin for performance, the car will have much better traction in bad weather/snow

do a little research, theres several different types of lsd's and much better and more clear definitions out there then mine

You cannot drift a FWD car. I have an ITR helical, Torsen-style LSD in my GSR. It does a great job for a DD.
