blown motor, can this be resleeved??PICS
Im asking cuz I can get this block at a steal if its repairable. He said a machinist said its repairable if sleeved again. Obviously you can see the damage here in C3
Also what do you think about the crank? Thats whats most important for me. This shot shows one side, kinda looks more like fluid build up not really sure..
Heres the other side..in this pic the the top of photo would be the front of engine, for reference

I'd say as long as you used a flange type sleeve you'd be fine. I can't see anything wrong with that crank either but its hard to tell over the internet.

homie said he was boosting too much on stock internals..the piston carnage pic he sent looked sexy too..

The 300 series flanged sleeves by darton will not work. You are going to need a sleeve like the darton MID's, ERL superdeck1's, or the ones Benson uses.

Just out of interest, why would the Darton flanged liners not work?

It looks like there is too much material missing for the 300 series to compensate for. It may work... but it will be very close.
