wiper fuse keeps blowing
the cars an 88 crx the wiper fuse keeps blowing out i replace it and they will work for a few days then it blows out again. i followed the wires from the switch to the motor and none of them are broken or grounding out i aslo replaced the whole combo switch wiper arms and blinker arms with a junkyard one. any ideas why the fuse keeps popping?

You could try to check out the ICU (Integrated Control Unit) behind the fusebox. It's a little gray box attached to the backside of the fusebox. Everything attached to that fusebox is routed by that ICU. One of them are the wipers. Usually the way to tell if its bad, if you open the gray casing around it (once you gt it off the fusebox) and look at the chip inside and make sure it ain't burnt. Hope this helps.

I got mine from the junkyard or rather pick n pull. I told them it was a relay and got it for $11. Be careful on people selling them, wayyyy overpriced. You can steal the ICU from any EF crx or civic also DA integra as long as it is the same part # as yours. Theres several different ICU's in the same year make model as yors. Weird but true. Just make sure you open the case up and checking the chip before buying. Make sure it is your problem first
