What is the stock rev limit on a p28?
I have a stock (non chipped) p28 from an automatic civic sedan running my swap (a6/z6 mini me). I converted it to a manual ecu, but that's it.
I thought that fuel cut on those was 7200 rpms, but i have noticed that if i brake traction near redline, my revs keep climbing past that 7200 mark to close to 8 g's before i shift out of fear...
I have hit the 7200 mark once and it actually cut the fuel off, however lately my ecu has not been doing that.
I am not running a stock cluster, I am using a gsr cluster. Motor is stock besides arp head studs, and I am running 92 octane fuel. ECU is getting chipped thursday...
Thanks!
