Axle broke
While attempting to swap out my CRX brakes for the DA ones I ran into a few problems, the main one being that my axle is not only broken but I cannot get it out of the transmission. The strange thing is that I removed it rougly 30 minutes before I estimated that it broke. Now the axle is stuck in the transmission and I can't pry it out at all, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Axle broke (M15)
You may be able to pull out the shaft on the other side, and carefully bang through the tranny.....
I would 1st try a bigger pry bar - hammer, or something. But as a last resort -do the above, not much room unless you have an LSD diff, but I have had to do it at the track before with broken axles before doing upgrades.

i had that problem once, until i got mad, and the blood pressure went up a little bit,
and then i got a ball-joint separator and a 10lb sledge hammer. and that seemed to work quite well

Re: Axle broke (Ak_ef9)
No it wa s a stock diff but I got the axle out, everything is looking good so far except that I stripped the threading out of the Lower ball joint, does anyone know any easy ways to remove these?
