Default t belt issue

So we changed belt, water pump, and tensioner and started it up hoping no bent valves and now it idles perfect but if you just blip the throttle it sputters and sounds like its getting choked out. If you rev it hard it sounds fine. So are my valves bent maybe? When i had the vc off the valves all looked straight and traveled normal. Timing looks to be dead on.

You can't visually check if the valves are bent with the head on the car. Even with the valves out of the head you can't tell they are bent unless if it's major damage. Typically you measure the valves with a dial indicator to see if they are bent or not. Anyways, double check your timing (both mechanical and ignition).
