storing motor for winter, any suggestions?
so i havent found a civic to put my b16 in yet and its getting soon time for snow up here and i probably wont be swapping it till spring.
i just want to know if there is anything i should do to the motor while it sits over the winter till spring? somebody said to take the plugs out and put some oil in the holes and roll it over a few times, then set it to half stroke and put a lot of oil in so that the piston walls dont form any rust. im kinda hesitant on filling them up with oil cause i dont know what would happen when i try to start it up in spring with all the oil in there
any suggestions?

obviously cover so dust doesnt settle, put on 2x4 or 4x4 pieces of wood under the block + tranny to keep all oil levels the same so that one side doestn get rusted and the other side does, the half stroke + oil is correct, just dont completely flood it, and its not like your gonna just lock it into a closet and say Peace out for the winter, just keep checkin on it to check for rust, and take care of it before it gets bad, dont be hesitant.

i have it covered with a blanket and sitting on a tire. its pretty even. as for the oil in the holes, whats that going to do when i go to start it up in the spring? will i have to try to suck the oil out before i start it? wont that damage the motor when i start it up?
