Wrong oil....
So I just found out I've been running all winter on 10w30 oil and its been pretty cold here in Wisconsin. I know I should have been running 5w30 but what kind of damage do you think this could have caused? I'm due for an oil change so I'm going to change it soon but was wondering if its anything to worry about.

Yea, you didn't hurt a thing. Just because it recommends 5w30 doesn't mean you'll tear up the engine if you use 10w. Basically it just takes a little longer to lubricate properly in the cold since it's a thicker oil. So long as you let your car warm up like you're supposed to you'll be just fine.

You will be fine ,your motor won't be damage. At least your motor had oil some people ran their car on no oil and their motor went bye bye.
