Power Locks Not Working, Windows, sunroof 1996 civic ex coupe
Fuses are good and intact..... the problem i have is that the previous owner rigged all the wiring to the locks harness... the door on passenger ONLY unlocks when you press up on the side mirror switch and before you do so.. you have to switch it to R(right) but it doesnt unlock both doors all... ive tried using the lock switch obviously... also my side mirrors wont work, only the right one does but it can only be adjusted side to side...
Also.. the harness that connects to my door (coming from fender) which
operates windows, locks, speakers.. etc. has worn out to my 96 civic ex.. so
I went to the junkyard and got an hx harness (I clipped it from where it
comes out through the fender and into the door) and put it on my ex... after
I did so MY SUNROOF stopped working... could it be because of fault
harness??
My speakers work well both sides and back,
But my sunroof, windows stopped. Completely??

Abandon the factory connector and replace the wires.
My advice is to pull one side back through the door and the other side back into the cabin yo give you clear access to the wires. Extend the ones from the door using new wires and feed the new wires into the cabin. Be sure to wrap everything up nice and tight.
FYI my hx just had crimp connections where the plug use to be and it had problems. I had to re do them all as I described above
I'm not aware of any sunroof wiring going through the door but I have an hx no sunroof
