Default Clutch slipping when engine is warm

So I have a stock D16z6 on my ej1 and the clutch is slipping only when the engine is warm. When I start up the car cold the clutch pedal is soft and engages pretty low, but when the car is warmed up after about 15 minutes the clutch pedal begins to get really stiff and it slips like hell. The clutch was replaced about 4 months ago so I'm not sure what the issue could be. Any responses would be great.

Pedal....engages....pretty....low? What this mean doe?

Traditionally:
-When a clutch is engaged, it is driving the driveline. This is what is supposed to happen with the pedal up.

-When a clutch is disengaged, it is disconnecting the engine from the driveline. This is supposed to happen with the pedal pushed down.

The pedal doesn't engage or disengage anything except a master cylinder pushrod.

Are you saying that the clutch starts to engage (grab) when the pedal is only slightly off the floorboard?

Was your clutch pedal properly adjusted after the clutch job? Was your flywheel either resurfaced, or replaced?

Yes, sorry I should've reworded that better . It engages near the floorboard ( As it normally should) but when the engine is warm, the clutch engages very high to the point of slippage.

I don't believe it was adjusted, I'll have to find out. And the flywheel was resurfaced.

It should not engage with the pedal near the floor. That's a poor adjustment. But...engaging near the floor means its not preloaded. Engaging way too near to the top of the travel would indicate a clutch that's preloaded and liable to slip.

So...your issue is weird.
