New PCM(Used) giving me code P0700 & P1768
My old PCM in my 98 Civic Ex died out(smoked) so i bought a used one online and now its giving me P0700 and P1768 both relating to transmission. I never had any problem with the transmission until i got the new pcm. I've tried resetting the pcm by removing the 7.5amp(back-up) fuse under the hood and also disconnecting the battery for 5 mins. Also, clearing the codes does nothing, they just come back. Any help would be nice. thanks

Sounds like you put an automatic ECU into a manual car.
Do you have a manual transmission?
What are the last 3 digits on the ECU's label? (label starts with 32870 or something like that)
