Default ELD Malfunction?

I am throwing a code 20 ELD Error. I tested the 3 leads on the ELD and the black/white wire is only getting .5volts, my HELMS says it should be getting 12v. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I was thinking of just tying the black/white ELD wire right to the + terminal, but im afraid that would screw it becuase if it were meant to go to the + it would already be wired that way. Anyway, the book also mentions something about a fuse under the dash but I saw no such fuse. Please help.

Dan

well the ELD sensor may be Fawked its located on the BOTTOM of the engine fusebox. location

anyways if your ELD sensor is gone you have to buy a WHOLE fusebox

see if you can borrow a friends to try, otherwise hunt around in a junkyard

Yeah I know where the ELD is. I took off the fuse box and disconnected the 3 pin ELD harness. Now if everything is wroking like it should be the black /white wire should have 12v, the red 4.5v and the black is ground. The only thing out of order is the black/white which has .5v instead of 12v. I don't know if this means I need a new ELD or there is a break/short somewhere in the black/white wire.

I'm the one that had the same problem. I had just found out that my fuel pump is seized up. So I took out the back seat and un plugged the pump and replaced the fuse. Now the fuse #14
stopped blowing and I have spark. Just no fuel pressure. Somebody put sugar in my gas tank. That also explains the milky white christle like build up in my throttle body that caused my throttle to stick last week. I bet my injectors are plugged now too. I heard of people having the fuse blowing problem from putting a high performance fuel pump in. They simply put in a bigger fuse. The fuse #14 does a lot of things ELD, Main relay....
