3.0 CL Engine
Does the engine that is in the Acura 3.0 CL in any other car besides the CL?
Reason why I am asking is because I need to replace the EGR valve and would like to know if there is another engine that I may take this part off of.
I know this is not the "Other Honda/Acura Models" forum but this forum is much more active.

Re: (JMU1337)
I thought they were also in the 00 V6 Accords too. By the way my sisters EGR went out in her CL also. Where is it located? Is it a black thing near the throttle body like on civics.

99-up Odyssey is J-code engine, but it's a J35. Ask me how I know
Minivans are cool, but not when you're only 24 years old... Too bad I couldn't afford a Pilot or MDX...

Are you sure it's the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve that you're thinking of? An EGR valve actually has hot exhaust gas running through it. I doubt that a vacuum hose, or any other rubber hose, could handle those kinds of temperatures. Every EGR valve I've ever seen has been bolted to the intake manifold. At least that's where it is on my accord's F22 and my Odyssey's J35.
I think what you're thinking of is the control valve. Part #1 in this pic:
The actual EGR valve is part #2.
