Creaking when turning the wheel at low speed?
Over the last month I've noticed that when I turn the wheel in either direction I can hear a loud creaking sound coming from the front of my car. I took a quick look under my car and I noticed that my passenger side outer axle boot is torn. Could the creaking just be from the torn boot/lack of grease on the axle joint?
I think my best option is to just replace the axle, but I don't wanna miss a different problem while I'm already under my car.

You do need to replace the axle with a torn boot, though I'm not sure that's the cause of the creaking.
Is the power steering (PS) fluid low in the reservoir? Is the PS pump belt loose?
