Default Corrosion on cylinder walls, Will it seal?

I was wondering if a head gasket will hold with the missing chips seen in the pictures. I am having a hard time finding a good block. =/ All of them that I find are messed the hell up.

I'm not an expert but, from a visual perspective, no. I would get it cleaned and checked.

In the first picture you can see the line from where the metal part of the head gasket was.

The chip goes almost completely through that area

That chip is halfway through the sleeve. I wouldn't trust it.

I would avoid using that block at all cost.

This is a perfect example of what you will see when removing a head from a Honda that continues to have cooling problems even after every conponment has been replaced in the cooling system.

This mostly happens when running straight undistilled water without antifreeze coolant added for long periods of time.

It will not hold a headseal

Thanks guys, This is the 4th block I have come across that is like this in my area. Finding a good D series block is a pain in the butt.
