well i never tried it but yeah i think so. btw my spark plug wirse has electrical tape on the tip where it plugs into the spark plugs. the previous guy had them in

if your spark plug wires are taped there's a possibility that the coating around the wire is ripped and is grounding out to the head. try throwing one of your buddie's plug wires.
my JDM H22a auto swapped 'lude is having the same problem it sounds like.

so have you checked the timing or tried new plugs or checked your distributor rotor and cap?

uhm i found out that im throwing a cel.
its the electric load sensor.. idk what that is!
also found out my ecu was chipped retarded. use my friends ecu and my car drove beautiful

was this issue ever solved? my poormans itr just started doing this exact thing last night. was driving fine for the past three months ive had the car swapped with crome chipped p28, timing was perfect, new fuel filter, no cat straight piping, all bolt ons. recently changed was the fuel rail to an AEM one. i drove around perfect everything was smooth for two weeks since changing the fuel rail. just last night i got on the freeway and went 70 on fifth gear chilling then the sputtering started slowly. little sputs but i worrried so quickly turned around back home. then it happened severely on 1,2,3 gear low rpms. i made it all the way home though. when i got home i idled and it dropped idle to about 300 (set to 1000) i stepped on the throttle and it sputters but it made it to the 4000 two step.

i read everyones post, ill check the pump but did original poster fix this problem right?

Hey bro i also have a JDM b16a swap into my 96 ek
my car bogged also when i try to rev
i just recently fixed it yesterday and my method was....
RESET YOUR ECU take off your back up fuse also!

I also replaced my TPS like 3 times
before i reset my ECU
it has to relearn it and what not!

No CELS, small misfires, normal operating temperatures.. checked fuel pump, let car idle really low but idling and sprayed carb cleaner around hoses for leaks, nothing found. i was told to check the map sensor and clean the IACV but i had just cleaned the IACV and replaced gasket.
