Re: 98 civic fuel pressure
don't just limit to the one fuse it could be another one under the dash or it could be one under the hood thats why i say check them all. as for the grounds i personally would check them all in the cabin. though you will have to remove the seats and carpet and also check the ones under the dash area. just to make sure all are good and clean.

The srs light at the bottom left comes on for a sec and goes off .. the top two lights are the battery light and I believe the oil light .. those both stay on .. the light on the right if I'm not mistaken is for the seaybelt ... ZERO check engine light at all .. doesn't even blink .. the only other thing I noticed is the temp gauge flies to the top even if I just turn the key to the on position

have you pulled codes on the car yet? and you may want to check the cel bulb it didn't come on. you also may want to check the fuel pump wiring at the main relay and see if the voltage is making it to the relay. if the power is getting to the relay then check the relay itself. i know you said its new but that doesn't mean a new part can't be faulty.

found this for you. it's the raeson i am saying to check your new relay
"The main relay actually contains two individual relays. The first relay is energized whenever the ignition switch is on which supplies battery voltage to the ECU, power to the fuel injectors, and power for the second relay. The second relay is energized for two seconds when the ignition switch is on, and when the engine is running which supplies power to the fuel pump.
When the main relay is at fault, the engine will usually fire, run for a split second and then stall, as the remaining fuel under pressure is used up. Continual cranking will only make the situation worse, with the engine not firing at all in the end. When you turn the ignition key to position II (ignition on) you should see the Check Engine indicator on the dash light up and extinguish. Exactly timed with this lamp, you should hear a click and the fuel pump turn on and off. If you do not hear a click and the fuel pump, then the main relay is likely to be at fault.
The main relay is usually located near the fuse box, mounted on a bracket. When you have a problem with the main relay, thumping this part of the dash, it is likely that the car will spring into life again as the joint is disturbed, unless the problem is severe."

thanks so much man .. i think this may help out a little .. when they say two smaller relays .. do they mean the black relay on the left side of the car near the fuse box ?? it looks kinda like a 2 piece fuse .. i know the main fuel relay is on the right side of the car on the side of the glove box .. if i pull off the kick panel and the side of the dash on the left side its screwed into a bracket right by the fuse box ..
