92 eg cx/B16a Sir ll/stock P30 ecu - O2 sensor wiring and codes 13, 22, 41
Ok so after my B16a Sir ll swap, i used a gsr harness, not sure what year but anyway. Im trying to pass emissions because i have to in my City. I replaced the piece of crap p28 chipped ebay ecu that ran no o2 sensor. I replaced it with a nice P30 ecu chipped with hondata s100 ;D Got it for a great deal too. Well all i need to pass emissions is that damn o2 sensor. So i bought one for a gsr and its a 4 Wire plug exactly what it should be. BUT i go to see if its the correct one and the one on my harness, Up by the fuse panel on its a 2 wire plug????? What gsr has a freaking 2 wire o2 sensor plug?? And its a cali harness lol. Anyway ill probably just wire up the 4 wire but its still weird.

Re: o2 Sensor
I'm pretty sure that's the o2 sensor connector. It's not long enough to even reach any sensor. And notice the o2 sensor has an extended wire with a plug on it. Idk why the hell it has a 2 wire o2 tho.

Re: o2 Sensor
2 wire would be a 2 prong plug. I have seen them but not on a gsr. Correct me if I'm wrong and if I am tell me where the hell that plug is....

Re: o2 Sensor
u may wanna check under the car .. kinda near ur firewall .. you should have a plug hanging from ur chassis .. kinda in the same location of ur shifter .. but i had to buy a password jdm o2 sensor extension cord .. works great and other than that u should have an o2 near the radiator hose that goes into ur head

Re: o2 Sensor
I'm not to sure about near the shifter. But I have a header on so it would plug into the down pipe. Why did you buy an extension??? I would have just cut the wire and soldered more wire on and shrink tubed it so it looked nice.

Re: o2 Sensor
well the extension was only like 15$ and it was worth it .. but yeah check under the car near ur shifter .. it would be between ur shifter and ur firewall .. ull def see it if u have one down there .. when its all plugged in correctly the sensor sticks up near the driver axle .. i was looking for a pic but cant seem to find one ..

Re: o2 Sensor
Alright so i found the 4 wire plug, but the interior harness that goes to the ecu is the original EG CX harness "and god is it a mess" that harness i believe is not pre wired for the 4 wire o2 sensor, Its just wired for the 1 Wire that came stock in the CX. So i found out where the wires need to go to the o2 sensor and Spliced them to the wires going to the ecu Because there were wires already going in. But im pretty sure those wires already in the ecu are not for the o2 sensor. So i just want to know if it will work right running the o2 spliced in those wires??

Re: o2 Sensor
Ok i tried it and i think it works o.O, but im pulling cel's...
just so you can get a basic idea of what im working with. B16a with gsr harness in a 92 eg cx with a header and intake
CEL CODES:
41 O2 heater
13 baro sensor
22 Vtec
OH YEAH and im on a stock P30 ecu idk if its jdm or not.

so whats the best way to go about this? i want to keep the ecu stock. how can i get rid of the primary o2 sensor cel? i wont be running one on the header just the down pipe. And with pictures how can i bypass the vtec pressure sensor? Also the barometric pressure sensor just needs to be replaced probably correct? it idle bumps pretty bad.
