i have a first gen jdm b16a in a 92 cx the cx had a one wire o2 sensor and the b16a has a four wire o2 sensor, how do i go about installing the o2 sensor? right now i think the wiring is wrong and the engine light is one even thought the o2 sensor is new, anyone know how i should wire this? thanks

 

Yea it's fairly easy to wire in rite now i don't have my diagrams with me but you can get a little start and i can give you the rest of the info on Monday. For rite now tap a line into ur junction connector on the upper driverside of the engine bay. There will be a plug with a whole bunch of yellow wires goin into it. You will have to tap a wire into that and run it to about where the 02 sensor is goin to sit. Find pin A6 and run a wire from the ECU to the engine bay (you are goin to have to find some OBD1 harness so that you can get several pins unless you want to getto wire it in by just jammin the wire into the back of the plug). Be sure to label these wires cuz it will make it a lot easier later. **** and there are two other wires that you are goin to have to add and i don't know them off the top of my head so i'll have to get back to you on that. I know one goes to a sensor ground i'm not sure rite now wether it is SG1 or SG2. However i'm pretty sure that it is SG2 and that is pin D22. Several sensors are connected to that line so your only goin to have to splice into it. Just send me an email to my email address and i can send you the rest of the **** on monday. then i can tell you which wires on the 02 sensor go to which in the harness that we are making. Latez
