rear brake change. . . help
Hey all,
I need to change my brakes on my 03 lx and after i take my rims off the back i can't seem to get that plate off. . .it does have some rust and i hit it a lot and really hard and it doesn't seem to budge. . . any help to change my back stock brakes would be super helpful! thanks

well duh that's the first thing i did but i dont know how long its been before they've been changed. . . thanks though

Get a hammer and hit it really hard, it'll break free.
If you're not strong enough to break if free with the hammer, you'll see two holes on opposing ends of the face of the drum. These holes are threaded and are to be used in case the drums don't release.
Find two random 12mm bolts (12mm head w/8x1.25 thread pitch) and thread them into these holes. As you drive the bolts in, the drum will pull out.
Here's a really crappy picture to illustrate the holes:
