yeah...cuz the fans are gonna make a huge difference at that speed
It sounds to me like a bad sensor man that's fluxing due to RPM/alternator put out. Your engine doesn't instantaneously cool down when you change RPM's. Short of your water pump and a clogged block there's nothing else it can be. Wouldn't surprise me at all, get one at a junkyard if you want. Depending on what year you got there's a dummy light sensor and the guage sensor.

Re: weird weird overheating problem on a 90 accord:(??? (Suke)
k guys i got another clue when i blast the heat the temp in about half a minute drops back to normal so if it's not the sensor, rad, air pocket, hoses, antifreeze level, thermostat, head gasket, it only leaves me with one possible choice i guess the water pump? but does that follow with the heat situation?

If the waterpump were bad, the heater wouldn't bring the temperature down.
That sounds like the radiator is the problem. Or maybe something blocking the hoses to the radiator or a bad t-stat. I know you said that stuff was good, but I guess check again??

I know this may be way off but....
I had a overheating problem on my 96 accord and replaced everything too. It was still overheating. Just for kicks I bypassed my heater core. Sure enough that was it. I guess it was clogged i'm not sure. On the downside I have no heat but my car holds @ 190 degrees.
