Approaching 85k mi, what maintenence should i look for?

Default Approaching 85k mi, what maintenence should i look for?

85k mi, got it used at 45k mi, have done regular 3k oil changes, as well as having replaced a leaking radiator.

other then that, never been worked on.

what should i be doing next?

i am going to get transmission flushed soon...when should i get tune up/timeing belt and others tuff?

compression test
rad. pressure test
rad. cap pressue test
rad. voltage check

alternator check
battery cca check
tire check(balance)
alignment
brake pad thickness
brake booster check
cv boot

change..
radiator flash
timing belt
water pump
fuel filter(at 100K)
spark plug(denso or ngk, copper oem replacement)

air filter every year, motor oil change every 3k w/ new oil filter, rotate tires every 5-7k, tranny oil change 10K(aux. tranny cooler is a plus)

dont forget valve adjustment at 100K

If you've driven it 40k and haven't done so, I would:

Replace the spark plugs
Drain and refill transmission (about 2.5 quarts ATF)
Replace the air filter
Check brake pads / shoes
Adjust valves
Add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to the tank every 3-5k miles.

Did you replace the coolant when you replaced the radiator? If not, I would replace the coolant.

All of the items I mentioned (with the exception of the valve adjustment) are easy maintenance items for the average person to do.

My owners manual for a '94 Accord suggests the timing belt / waterpump replacement at 90k miles. I believe the suggested period between valve adjustments is 15k miles.
