The most important thing to replace is your timming belt and water pump, but you should also consider the spark plugs, and maybe wires.

Id check
Clutch
Brakes
All brake lines fuel lines for oxidation
hoses for dry rot
Calipers to make sure they are working properly
Rotors
shocks
battery

I would replace
Oil
Tranny fluid
Coolant fluid
Brake fluid
Clutch fluid
air filter
oil filter
head gasket
spark plugs
plug wires
timing belt
alternator belt
power steering belt if you have it
I would only do this because after I bought mine I failed to check and less than 30000 miles later problems started occuring and my motor blew so now Im paying for it...

you don't change an oil pump and headgasket if it's not bad

You got that right. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but this doesn't apply to timing belts. Fix it before it breaks!

I would rather have replaced the headgasket than have the motor overheat like it did I said that was just me and id rather replace things and not have to worry about it for the next 100,000 miles rather than be going down the road on my way to NC and have my headgasket blow

that's dumb. headgaskets don't just blow cuz you have over 100k on the motor. we aren't dealing with an old pontiac it's a honda, fresh oil and following "recommended" maintainence and you can run these things forever.

the biggest thing at 110000 is timing belt package. 'sposed to be done at 105k. have a good honda specialist or dealership catch you up on maintainence and drive it like a mildly sane person

Oil pumps and headgaskets are not maintainence items... on honda's anyways....

If it is sealing good no need to worry about it. This would be the time where I would do a compression test to see how well my engine is still performing, and note any possible performance problems before I go sticking more money into maintaining it. If the belt has never been replaced, I highly suggest replacing that, the tensioner, and the water pump.

Mass replacement of parts will only lead to frustrations when you cant even get the car to where it was before, because too many things were changed to note the cause of it in the first place.

hehe I have a d15 running strong on factory timing belt and water pump @ 245,000 miles. only thing ever done to the whole car is 1 clutch, 1 tune-up, 3 sets of tires, a couple of air filters, and regular 6k oil changes... Take that, PONTIAC!

Sorry bud my head gasket did "just blow" 200 miles from my house so yea I kind of wish I had changed. This was also on oil change every 3k new air fileter every two months and a tune up every 6 months...

pssshhh,Tell that to me and my friends. friend of mine put 9;1 pistons h beam rods, the usual upgrades for a 400whp turbo B series...it lasted him about 3days just breaking the engine in before dyno tune....3rd day it locked up...Oil pump jusst stopped working out of the blue...haha...so...i wouldnt say they dont need changing...timing Belt, and Oil pump are cheap...and if they break...what happens is not cheap...lol

whoa, i think the topic leaned more toward a stock engine still in car, not a freshly rebuilt turbo setup that has already been ripped apart.

oil pump and head gasket are in no way regular scheduled maintenance items... end of story. argue all you want. by your rational, what if that same day his car got hit by an expedition and totaled. Is SUV resistant paint regular maintenance too? and, brand new oil pumps can fail too.

hmm, what should I check and replace at 110000 miles sounds like scheduled maintenance to me, not im building a 400whp turbo b16 what should I replace... hehe douche, I manage a repair shop... If I even merely suggested to customer to replace a head gasket and oil pump at 110000 simply for precautionary measures, I would be branded a crook and burned alive at the stake.

I never said that a head gasket is scheduled maitnance but I like to take precautions so from now on when ever my vehicle whatever it may be hits ts next 100000 miles ill be changing the headgasket mine blew and i dont know why i was cruising in 5th at like 70 so its not like i was racing the engine or anything...
