1993 Accord SE (f22a6) Crank Position Sensor location ?
Cannot find this part anywhere on the internet, its almost as if it doesnt exist. I need to know is it located in the dsitributor and can it be purchased seperately of the entire dizzy ? My sister replaced the entire dizzy 15 months ago, and now the CPS fails, stalls the car and illuminates the CEL light. I would like to replace it for her if it is in the dizzy.
Thanks all...If you have a 93 accord se CPS for sale text me 9413233505
TD52U is the TEC dizzy.

Any idea where she purchased the distributor and what type of warranty it has? Some vendors have 24 month 24k and others 36 month, 36k. It might be worth checking into. It would be nice to have it replaced for free, if possible.
I hope this helps.

hello, can you tell me where exactly in the distributor it is at? Theres no vídeo or nothing telling me where its at. Do i need to take apart the distributor? And for the crankshaft sensor, in terms of appearance, is it a wire strand with a metal lining piece in the middle and two connection point at both ends?

the sensor is not serviceable, if its bad the whole distributor is replaced. The only serviceable component is the igniter module.

Check the wires inside the distributor housing. It has been my experience over the years that the sensors inside these distributors very rarely go bad. It is usually caused by corrosion, dirty contacts or dry cracked wires.
FYI, these distributors can be rebuilt, or else you wouldn't be able to by re-manufactured housings. You just have to search the original electrical component suppliers, not the original equipment/part supplier.

Ghost, if you know who the original electrical component supplier is for that distributor please post. I looked and could not find a part on ebay or the wider internet...
