I got the num 2 spot already mang! Anyway, i've been so goddamn busy since i havent posted in the thread. Im on HT every day, but i dont have time to keep up with the people wanting to join and what not.

I had to sell my sedan due to 3 head bolts getting stripped into the block. The block was stipped is what im trying to say, some dude bought it from me tho! He was more than aware of the situation with the car but he drove off...havent heard back since. The next day, i picked up my EG haha.

ok got done reading thru it, the iat code will definately throw off your gas mileage considering that the car is still seeing it as cold and thus dumping in more gas then what the car needs. I would also check the plugs if i remember right the IAT sensor and the TPS sensor plugs look identical.

Also maybe do a compression test and check to make sure all is in order there, you could have a leaky headgasket which will show somewhat on a compression test.

Try those and see what happens man and let me know, i saw you were going to replace the thermostat already so thats why i didnt mention that. maybe even check the o2 sensor as well make sure its clean, i know it said something about you using the four wire, but just double check it and make sure its in decent working order

oh and also you can pull your injectors and rail as one but i wouldnt try firing them figure it takes about 2psi to pull the injectors out by hand and there is 35psi in the rail when you fire it. pull the injectors and inspect the orings and such you should be able to tell when one is bad. and oring kits are pretty cheap as well i think 4 or 5 bucks.

Noted, about the IAT, could i have a code 10 if the IAT isnt reading correctly? The IAT is brand new, the wiring is correct, but since the car never "warms up", could it throw the code?

Also, its a b7/z6 mini me swap, vtec wiring has been done in the engine bay.(92 cx/dx/vx all have vtec wired into the dash harness to ecu already for some reason) Thats the reason for the 4-wire o2, its done correctly since im not throwing a code for that.

Lastly, the ecu is stil from the b7, i need to find a p28 on the cheap.

doesnt sound familiar but i might, and yes you would really want to find a p28 for it since the sensor could read diff but i dont think it would matter that much, check the voltage at the sensor and see, could be that you got a bad out of the box sensor as well

The previous owner told me that he thought the plug was damaged, so he cut it off...the thing that bugs me is that the colors of the harness side dont match the plug side.

The green and red wires on the harness side ALMOST match up with the plug.

plug- red/yellow, green/white
harness- red/yellow, green

so, im confused haha

maybe im looking at the wires wrong but it doesnt even look like they are hooked up to the correct wires in the harness. What i would do is undo that nightmare and redo it, so its done correctly and soder and heatshrink the wires or you will probably fry the sensor or worse

So yea, i need to find where these black and red wires go to. I think the red/yellow, green go to the tps, they're definately not just hanging.

ALright, red/yellow, green/white goes into the plug....so wtf haha.

hmm...there is no mention of a yellow or a black wire going anywhere near the IAT...i see the solid green that LOOKS like the IAT green/white taps into.
