Help! clutch pedal sinks to the floor and wont go back up!
this morning i tried to drive my car but it wouldnt shift into gear when i depressed the clutch pedal. so i looked into clutch master resivoir and found it needed new fluid cuz it was dark. started to bleed the clutch master cylinder by loosening the bleed screw and then i put some new fluid into clutch cylinder, went to depress the clutch pedal but all it did was sink down to the floor and it did not go back up. i filled up the clutch system but the pedal wont move. I cant put the car into any gears. please help. any suggestions will help.

remove the boot that covers the slave cylinder and release bearing fork. See if the slave cylinder is ok or if its leaking fluid, if so, replace with another slave cylinder.

did you bleed the system properly? maybe the master cylinder is bad. peel back the carpet by the clutch pedal and look for leaking brake fluid.

Proper bleeding/cleaning of system
1. Open screw
2. Depress clutch (usually you are going to have to do by hand until all the fluid is out)
3. Add more fluid, cap the top
4. Pump the clutch, and have someone hold it down, then open the screw
5. repeat step 4 until it gets stiffer
