anti-theft system for em1
What are some of systems you guy uses out there for your Honda? I own a em1 with no security system what-so-ever for it. The only thing separates the thieves from getting to my car is the locks between the doors and the windshield. I also know for a fact this specific model can be easily be stolen with little ease. So that's why i decide to add a security system to my vehicle.
Something like a Viper or one of those well known security systems. Those security systems are nice for the first line defense against theft, but what about when the thieve(s) is actually inside the car? I mean, what other measure would prevent the vehicle be driven away besides a detachable steering wheel? A steering with locking features perhaps--if there is such thing as a locking steering wheel that is.
Ideas and opinions are welcome. And is greatly appreciated.

Re: anti-theft system for em1
In a word "layers".
Just like locked door do not prevent entry into the car, an alarm will not prevent theft of the car or it's content. adding one or two more "layers" will help, so add a redundant kill switch, and or a self arming kill switch, There are more then a few things you can do, but layering is the way to go, nothing is 100% the trick is to slow the thief down as much as possible and draw attention to the car, flashing lights, horns and or sirens.
Number one is a properly installed alarm, [stealth] hidden and hard to access will prevent easy disabling of the alarm, a redundant self arming kill switch will help if the thief does manage to get past, [disable] the alarm. 94
