Default will my swapped hatch pass emissions?

i swapped a d16zc sohc into my 91 hatch last week, im moving to pheonix in june and my tabs are up in july. will my car pass emissions? engine was bought at a import shop with 40xxx miles, what would cause it not to pass? any info would be great

Is it bared? Because if not you won't be passing any smog.

If the engine is just a replacement engine for your car then yes it will pass. If the engine has a bigger displacement or is for a different car then it will need to go through a state ref to get legalized.

Seeing that you said its just a 1.6 sohc (non vtec i assume) ZC engine then you should have no problem passing emission.

I do not know where you are located but as an experienced person that has done this in CALIFORNIA, you shouldnt have any problems.

im planning on getting my EG bard im puttinge a gsr in it.. what all would i need to make it pass? and every1 i know tells me the guy who bars cars is a douche

I think it has to pass the emissions for the year of the engine and all the emissions equipment for that engine has to be on there
