NEED SOME WIRING HELP FIRST TIME SWAPPING IN A GSR!!!
So i bought an OBD2 Gsr Swap with engine harness. I am dropping this motor in a 93 Ex coupe. I read that the obd2 gsr harness will mount right up to my Ex interior harness(from shocktower to the cabin). I will be using an obd1 P72. Then read that i have to wire the Knock sensor and the IAB since my Ex interior harness isnt wired for it.
Basically im wasnt sure if me having an obd2 motor have a significance when wiring the IAB to the suggested way of wiring it as obd1. PLEASE HELP NEED TO FINISH THE SWAP THIS WEEKEND!

"As for the IAB, you will have to reverse the polarity & switch pins A17 & A20 in order to make it work since an OBDII motor requires a positive signal to the butterflies. If you had an OBDI gsr motor, all you need to do is switch pins A17 & A20"
Can some please elaborate to what reversing the polarity means?

Keep the engine harness stock, don't mess with it. Add the wire for the knock sensor and the IAB solenoid from the shocktower to the ECU. There is no need to touch the engine harness to do this. Very simple.
