Default 91 ef/b18 rpm cut out at 6200, and lots of pinging

hey all, so i have a 91 ef with a b18a1 in it. it was running perfectly fine after the swap for a few months before it started having issues. it pings when you hit the throttle if its under 4k, and it completely cuts out at around 6200rpm. it gives a fuel system error code once it warms up, then the check engine light goes away when you shut it off. i have replaced the o2 sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump (walbro 255lph), spark plugs, ecu (had a spare, no change), checked grounds, checked the injectors (all spraying perfectly fine), etc.

does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? it started during a nasty cold -30c winter storm and has been like this ever since. please please help, im drawing a blank here.

any thoughts if it could be a temp sensor? im only getting a fuel system code with a stock ecu, and only an o2 sensor code with a chipped ecu(stock map).

lol finally figured it out, after fighting this for so long (months) it ended up being the cam timing :s. the belt was pretty tight, i didn't think it could have possibly slipped with how tight it was. i didn't have any of my covers on the side either, but i used a screwdriver down the spark plug hole to find tdc and it showed the cams advanced 1 tooth. i also noticed that the timing mark on the crank pulley aligns with the timing belt when the engine is at #1 tdc

this explains why it stunk like fuel (like it was running rich) but pinged like it was lean......pumping it all strait out the exhaust lol.
