cars stumbles even more...p1399
About a week ago by word of mouth I took my car to get repaired by a recommended mechanic. I had a headgasket problem...hoses hard, bubbles out of resoirvor, etc. He took the head to get resurfaced and installed a new oem gasket and assembled it back. He called me 2 days later saying the car was done but that the car started hesitating between 1000rpms and 2000rpms..then engine light turned on. He checked it and it was the knock sensor he replaced the knock sensor with one his ek for 50.00. I pay him and take off getting home car still stumbling and i called him and tells me the car need a valve lash. im like what?? And there would be an extra charge. So im still thinking its a sensor took it to advance auto did a computer check and got a code p1399(manufacture control ignition system or misfire)
Anways matter just got worse last night car stumbles even more and i bearly made it home. Im really disappointed at this guy cause he told me that there is no warranty other than the work on the head.

Now i have to pay out of mine pocket to fix it. Do u guys think its the ignitor? rotor or it has to do with the timing?
Now about the mechanic i wanted to take him to court...what is the process that I need to take. If in court what should i say or not say. Im really disappointed...i really i am.

p1399 is not a valid code, try to verify or count your mil flashes

yes it is but not on honda codes. Just found out today and it was a misfire on cyl. #4. The plug(terminal) in the boot was too inside that it wasnt making full contact on the distributor side. That stopped the misfiring but car still stumbles some what on idle.
