help! obd2a to obd2b harness conversion lsvtec distributor wiring problem?
im doing an ls-vtec conversion and im using an obd2b harness and a p72 head. i mocked the harness up to the ls motor and looked at the connectors. i noticed that the distributor has a male connector and the obd2b harness also has a male connector. the obd2a harness had 8 wires on a female connector and the obd2b harness has 9 wires in a male connector. how can i adapt it or wire it so i dont hafta buy a 99 si distributor? engine is a 96 ls and the car is a 96 civic hatch. it has a p75 ecu for the ls motor and i have a p72 ecu for it till it gets tuned. anyone have these problems before with this harness?
wiring diagrams/schematics welcome.

Well something is wrong you should have 9 wires for both, I just rewired the b4 CR-V distributor clip into b20b regular clip so it's possible
