where can i get a harness!!??!?!?!
heres the dilema i have a b18c-r in my 96 cx the engine harness is from a 99si and i have a p28 chipped ecu with a conversion harness in between. The thing is im not hittin vtec and dont have working a speedometer or tac. My question is which harness would be the best to use if i want to make it obd1 alway through can i use a 96 civic engine harness or do i need to get a type r harness or can i get something close like a gsr? And is this even my problem?

how do i know if i have a obd1 distrubutor im pretty sure i have the stock b series distrubtor that came with the motor. and what and how do i do the modifications on the ex harness

If its OBD1 it will have 2 grey plugs, if its OBD2 it will have a single grey plug. You don't need to swap distributors.
If you use a '96 - '98 5 speed EX harness all you have to do is cut and lengthen the wires going to specific sensors, no plugs need to be changed and nothing needs to be added. If you use a CX/DX harness you will need to do some connector swapping. Please see the images below:
