Default D16Z6 Running on 3 Cylinders

I have a 1990 Civic DX hatch with a 92 civic si swap (d16z6 and trans). When I bought it I noticed it burned quite a bit of oil. White smoke coming out of exhaust. It also leaks a considerable amount of oil. About 2-4 quarts per tank. I noticed a bulge in the oil pan gasket. My first question is where are the most common places for oil to leak from, so I can check that out. Secondly, when I got the car I did a quick compression test and got a steady 140 on cylinders 2-4 and 120 with a leak on cylinder 1. Yesterday my check engine light came on (OBD1) and cylinder 1 stopped firing and the spark plug was fouled. So leak down test next? Let me know if you need more information. I want to get this thing running smooth!

EDIT: My fuel injector plug came loose. Thank goodness for zip-ties.
