Sold my ECU. Guy is having problems for some reason.
Since I'm now hondata equipped I of course sold my stock ECU. The car ran the day I took it out and I packaged it very well. I placed it inside a bubble wrap envelope, then placed that envelope inside another bubble wrap envelope, and all of that was put into a box stuffed with newspaper (or peanuts, can't remember). The guy now says the ECU won't work. His car will turn over but won't start. I think he has an EG hatch. He also says his Civic Type-R and GSR ECU work. What could be the problem? Imobilizer?

How does he get this? I'm thinking I'll probably have to get it for him?

I'm guessing there is nothing to this? Wish the guy that bought it would respond.

You might have to have the dealership or "some guy" (re)program the immobilizer with matching keys.
