Interesting starting problem after sitting while warm
Here's my car as it sits now:
91 RS w/ original engine of 170K miles
Recently replaced:
Complete distributor (havent re-done ignition timing... maybe this is it? )
spark plugs
wires
Fuel filter
o2 sensor
TPS sensor
Changed oil
Compression test resulted in 185PSI in each, with a warm engine and full throttle w/ five pumps.
Fuel pump primes each time, and the main fuel relay clicks each time
Cleaned FITV and screwed the plunger all the way down
Haven't cleaned the IACV;however, whenever I unplug it, the idle does simmer down and the engine struggles greatly thus throwing a code for the IACV.
Whenever I do a cold start, it takes almost no cranking to turn over the engine.... however, when it warms up and I take it for a drive, and I turn it off to let it sit for longer than like 5 minutes... it'll have a really crappy start -- like it struggles to get to 800RPMS. It's not the battery as I just purchased a Red Top. However, if I rev it a lil and what not itll smooth back out at 800.
I'm really stumped, haha.
