Cold Starting Problem
I have a 95 LS Integra with a stock b1 and 5 speed trans. Recently i have been noticing when i go to start my car in the morning (or after sitting for 4+ hours) I have to crank it about 20-30 seconds before it will start. I thought it was the fuel pressure regulator, i changed that and i still have the problem. I just put a new fuel pump and sending unit in and blew out the lines from the fuel filter to the pump. Also i put on a new fuel filter about 2000 miles ago. I recently within the past 1000 miles changed my plugs and wires. My distributor is only about 6000 miles old. I honestly have no idea what is causing this. Im not throwing a check engine code.
Check ECT sensor, it supplies ECU/ECM with engine temp., if it indicates a warm engine even though it is cold, it will be hard starting when cold but not when warm. 94
Yeah when it starts it does idle high like it should, also no misfire or running rough when it starts. Isn't the ECT sensor on the cylinder head under the distributor?
