a stock pump is very old, so old they are near failure and i wouldnt trust it with a performance application.

a stock pump could take bolt ons, like header, intake mani, mild cam, exhast, intake, etc... I wouldnt trust it past that or on a turbo app.

you can use a stock fuel pump with an fmu, but thats ghetto, unsafe and last time I checked, this wasn't HMT

p.s. thats in a perfect world with a perfect 100% v.e. motor.

325 is flywheel, which is about 250 wheel give or take... and thats the pump and its ver ragged limit... no overhead, which means you are pushing the pump as hard as you can which shortens its life.. it will fail then you'll be out a motor...

dont be a cheap ***, spend the 100 bucks...

also i think u guys should be talking about what the hp limits are not just saying "no your a noob you cant run boost on stock pump"..

read much?

If you plan on making 200whp boosted then by all means use the stock pump. But eventually youre going to need a new one either before or after your motor grenades from leaning out because you were too cheap to spend *< $100 dollars on a part thats probably one of the cheapest pieces in your turbo setup.

ive been running turbo on stok pump + fmu for about 1 year. i have a d15z1 which has low compression. economy vtec model with t25 turbo. and its only about 90 hp stock. FYI i already have the walbro 255 so i will use it but realistically im pretty sure the stock pump can handle 180-200ish np as i have been researching this a few days now. (any more then 200 hp imma bend my rods so yeah that part kinda sux)

Roughly a stock Honda pump flows 100-110 lph with a maximum operation pressure of 50-55 psi. After that lph drop to below half rendering the pump useless. So at max pressure and flow volume on a good running low milage pump mathmatically speaking it should be good for 220 whp with a stock static base pressure and no more than 10 psi boost otherwise fuel flow will decrease from to much pressure that the pump can't keep up with demand and this is with no safety margin which should always be usd when doing forced induction but that's what the pump will do from a technical mechanical standpoint

I ended up going with a TT rx7 pump that was in a del sol from my old town, car made 427whp @ 15psi so I know it'll be reliable. Also should be plug and play for my car. I'm only assuming though, I've never dropped the tank on a DA before.

wow, what did you pay for that?

is it really that much money to buy a new pump with the correct install kit for your car? You dont even have to drop the tank for a walbro dude.

and a walboro is less then a hundred dollars!!!!!!!!!!

Walbro is decently priced and a good insurance, like everyone else say why risk blowing up your turbo setup that you probably just spend a lot of money on? I personally run a Denso 280lph TT supra fuel pump because it flows more than the walbro and very quiet, it is pricey though. Go with the walbro 255HP and call it a day!

in a DA you have to drop the tank, unless you want to cut a hole and make a cover for it.
