stock fuel pump hp limit? 92 integra
Hey guys, been searching google and the forums here and haven't really found exactly what I'm looking for.
I'll be boosting my stock 92 teg, injectors are obviously necessary but I'm contemplating if I'll really need a fuel pump. I'll be on the stock map sensor so nothing more than 12 pounds (ill be running 7 at first), with a turbo that's similarly sized to a 14b (a little bit bigger).
Thanks in advance.

You friend is full of crap, a stock fuel pump will not flow enough fuel to hold a proper a/r ratio to support 300whp. even with a huge set of injectors it wouldnt work it just cant keep up with the demand. The stock regulator is said to be good for around 450 so thats no big deal and 450cc injectors with a good pump ma out around 300whp and I'm a tuner and i've seen what those injectors are capable of when they have the right pump or a stock pump an stock pump they max out very quickly right around 225whp 100% duty cycle
To the OP i know its a pain in the *** to change a fuel pump on a DA so do you self a favor and pick up a inline walbro 255hp or if you can swing the extra money get a bosch 044 but the walbro should do just fine and keep the stocker in the tank.

you cheap asses wanting to get by as cheap as possible **** me off...
Its a turbo build, cheap and reliable dont work... A stock fuel pump, seriously... that was deemed by the factory adequate to fuel a 160hp motor you think will work for 12psi boosted? um yea...
a walbro 255 is 100 bucks... how much is a new motor?

If the pump dies while the engine is under boost it will lean out and melt your engine parts. So do you want to risk it?

Why are people that can't afford a 100 dollar fuel pump boosting cars? If you can't afford to buy a walbro then don't boost the car because it's expensive to do and keep up with especially I using shoddy parts

yes hes loaded because he has 70 dollars to buy a walbro
go ahead and use stock pump or a dsm pump that wasnt designed for our cars. Well see how far this mentality gets you.

Holy jesus **** everybody is ****ing stupid here.
A fuel pump is a pump, it pumps fluid, what the **** has to be specially designed to work on a honda?
I guess all those people who use universal walbro 255s did it all wrong not buying a pump made for their car, right?

Re: stock fuel pump hp limit? 92 integra
you need a walbro and an integra specific install kit, or the pump wont fit.
fuel pumps pump fuel... not every pump moves the same amount of fuel and stock pump will not support forced induction of anykind..
you asked a noob question, you should have been prepared for the flaming and jackass posting that has occured in a thread that could have been avoided by you simply thinking and using the search function...
