Which sandwich plate, vtec distributor
Has anyone bought an ebay sandwich plate and have it be successful? If not, what can you recommend?

I have a ls block and 98gsr head. The motor came with a obd2 harness, but I am going to use my obdI that is on my running motor. Can someone tell me what plugs I will need from the obd2 harness? Can I just buy a td44 distributor obdI and call it a day? Do the ls and vtec distributors have different electrical plugs? And obd 1 & 2?

Thanks

I would just use the Golden eagle. Ive had zero issues with it. Im sure any sandwich plate would work but you want to make sure youre using a big enough of a line for the head to supply oil. Most of the ebay plates are probably 1/8npt
Youre re using a OBD1 harness from what type of motor? the distributor plugs would be different. Especially if youre using a SOHC harness on a DOHC motor.

no difference between v & nonv dist plugs but there are differences between dist ears
if you buy a obd1 vtec dist(only for correct ears) and swap to obd 1 injectors, your obd1 harness is plug and play. only have to worry about vtec wiring.
but they do make dist jumper, which is cheaper than a whole new dist

I have obd2 injectors but they will work on my obd1 harness no problem. I planned on buying a b16 obd1 dist.
I am using my ls harness for lsvtec
