the eng didnt blow because you were boosting 10psi. 10psi isnt crap. i had a bone stock gsr running a t3/t67 h.o. at 12-14psi. on the dyno it put down 395whp on 12psi. i dont believe you were anything close to that at 10psi. reason for your blown motor is poor tuning. if it had a better tune then it wouldve lasted 100x longer! you know that "built" engines blow too right? better plan to spend some money on getting to tuned next time huh?!?!

the muffler bearings were going bad, they heated up your intake temperatures too much and the engine overheated. Just sand it down it is fine

lmao...didn't your read...geez....so quick to judge without readin...i did a baseline before the turbo was one it only had a 126.8whp...that is no bueno for a b18c1..even if it had 180k...i didn't tune the car cause i knew something was wrong with it...oh ya compression was over 200psi on each cylinder..so ya i wanted to blow it...it's fun abusing stuff sometimes...really really fun..you spend so much time babying and tuning..i just wanted to see how a boosted motor will take the abuse..it was 10psi for about a week...oh ya don't worry dark...i changed the muffler bearings to those high performance spoon muffler bearings...so i should be otay

lol, thats funny.. more funy because my buddy and i did the exact same thing on his #1 piston JEWCIN on the 101, blew that ****** to kingdom come and filled the 101 from the 202 all the way north to macdonald with so much smoke it was ridiculous.
here's us bustin the burnout behind discount tire - getting new tires is sooo fun , the smoke output from the "holy" piston was similar in thickness

I used to pix of y8 pistons that holes going from inside the piston to the ringland on the intake side, from running to lean on nitrous (dry kit), and too much timing advance, but you could barely see it.
