picked her up yesterday. Got a hell of a deal on it and it came with a 3" dp. Now to acquire a 46mm precision wastegate...

Re: LST / LS-T Turbo B18A B18B setups
I have been running a simple setup for about a year now and starting to accumulate parts to max out my turbo. I have a garrett t3 t04e 57trim and it would be nice to eventually max that turbo out, but as of right now my little 450cc injectors are holding me back. I am looking for something I can be able to reach 600whp eventually. obviously it will be some time before my stock ls makes, (most likely ls-v by then) 600 but just thought I would share the manifold I picked up...hopefully I have the injectors to go with the manifold so I can get a retune and see what I can make on this LS

I just got done saying, im accumulating parts and was just sharing my manifold on here. never once said 300 was my goal for my topmount

Re: LST / LS-T Turbo B18A B18B setups
Finally I got around to building my engine for the turbo.
I am currently driving it around to get some miles on it as it breaks in.
The set up is as follows.
Wiseco flat top pistons
carillo a beam rods
acl race bearings everywhere
crower dual valve springs titanium retainers
with crower 404s
and aem tru time cam gears.
The compression should be right around 10.1
I want to have as much low end as possible as these NA cams definately hurt my low end. Anything below 3500 and it feels somewhat sluggish.
it is a little on the rich side but still safe.
I did a short street tune in order to get it to run and idle with these cams, definatley have to play with degreeing them to try and kill some of the overlap.
Next month I should be dropping in my Holset Hy35.
My goal is around 400 - 450 on pump might even go E85.

Cars on the road again, everything appears to be in order.
Except the ignition is weaker then stock lol. The car runs as it did, but breaks up around 28lbs of boost, where the stock ignition got me to 33lbs. I feel its a bad coil or box or the spark wire to the cap is a weak connection (I had a tough time crimping the end on for some reason. I've already replaced the ground and that didnt fix it. So I've got to pick up an OEM dizzy to run in the short term so I can at least be where I was.
Here's the car after its first wash of the year though!

Looking at valve springs today to match my delta turbo cams i'm about to order and have a question. Can i get away with running single springs or do i have to run dual. I'm thinking about supertech.

Lightning something weird is going on there. I'd ditch the crane box and get the summit box personally. My setup has a very powerful spark.

I got my rotating assembly in. I know I wont be boosted for at least a year, but I figure you guys woul appreciate seeing another ls build thats got boost in the future. Its got 10.7:1 srp pistons, eagle rods, oem bearings, oem pumps, etc. Its gonna have a ported pr4 head with jge 303 cams, rocket motorsports valve springs, ferrea 6000 valves, and ferrea guides.
Still stock sleeves so im only lookin for around 380hp
Also, this is how I clocked my rings. I think itll be ok but my 2nd oil ring is a bit off clocked vs the 2nd compression ring. Is this ok? My gut says its fine since its just the bottom oil rail.
I am tempted to yank the pistons back out and do it 180° for the oil rings.

Re: LST / LS-T Turbo B18A B18B setups
Was told on the turbo I don't need a restrictor if I use -3an oil feed line but I'm probably gonna use a .065" one anyway. Can someone chime in on the -3an line? True or eh
