Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
Just finished tuning my 6262 setup:
84.5MM Sleeved B20 Block
GSR Head w/ stock cams
Supertech springs/retainers and flatop valves
Wiseco 10.6:1 pistons & Manley Turbo tuff rods
Track Forged T4 Top Mount Manifold
3" e-cutout Up pipe (with 2-1/4" piping to stock muffler when e-cutout is closed - sleeper)
PTE6262 T4 82 A/R
Southbay 1200cc injectors
Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump, all stock lines and stock regulator.
Tial 44mm Wastegate and Tial 50mm BOV
68mm throttle body
Edlebrock Victor X manifold
Tuned on Crome Gold (Need to get S300) on a dynojet
Car was tuned on 15PSI but started creeping at around 7.5-8K rpms to about 17psi. Revved out to 8.5K. Here is a graph with a 3rd gear pull. 4th gear netted about the same HP but Tq peaked at 296ft-lbs

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
Seeing alot of gsr and ls VTEC builds but not so many b18b non VTEC builds. Can someone suggest what psi spring/ springs in my 38 mm wastegate I run. Running a fully built ls non VTEC. 9:6.1 compression. Precision 6262. Looking to make 400-450 whp on 93 octane. Any help is appreciated.

Hopefully this link works. I said I would get a dyno sheet just took longer than I thought. This was 630 on 19psi my setup is on the last page.

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
My setup is listed a few post above. Going to swap out the GSR cams for some Skunk2 Tuner 1's tonight and then retune. Looking to make another 30+ whp at the same boost levels. The C16 tune this friday or saturday to make 600+whp.

I'm gonna guess you'll make 50-75whp more with the pro 1s alone. update us when you retune?!

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
Im running the Tuner 1 not the pro 1 cams. I installed them yesterday but couldnt tune it. There was an RX7 on the dyno last night that was really loud.... neighbors started to complain about the noise so i didnt want to put the car on the dyno at 10PM at night and have them call the cops on us. Tonight it will hit the rollers. But after i installed the cams and took it for a quick drive, i have zero traction.... traction was bad before but now its non existent. I think im gonna have to put a smaller spring in the waste gate but i will do that after i make the comparison of the Tuner 1 cams to the GSR at the same boost level.

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
My setup is listed above. Originally i had the car tuned on Crome and it made 472whp with the GSR cams. This was with a 3" up-pipe connected to a 3" exhaust cut out to a stock muffler. When i tuned it on crome i had to stock muffler/piping removed so the exhaust was dumping thru the 3" up-pipe also the 2.5" "downpipe" to the floor. I then retuned on Hondata S300 V3 and it made mid 460's but this time i had the stock exhaust bolted back in and the 3" cutout open. So a little restriction from before hence the slightly lesser HP.
Last night i retuned the car with the addition of Skunk2 Tuner 1 Cams. Below is the before and after dyno from switching to Skunk2 Tuner 1 cams from the GSR cams. Both tunes were on the same wastegate boost of 15psi creeping to 17-18psi . Decent gains in the mid range. The GSR tune only shows 458whp but when revving it out to 8.8K it was in the mid 460's. I didnt use that dyno graph to compare because the dyno ignition pickup was cutting out.
The setup below (dont bash the up-pipe, its painted and looks a bit better)

Nice power! How much boost? Down low seems a bit laggy... from the graph it looks like you are hitting 200whp by 5.9K to 6K rpms. Im hitting 200whp by 4.7K granted im on a bigger motor and bigger cams. But impressive numbers overall.

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
actually the rpm on the dyno is off due to the tach signal but yea my motor could use some cams to breath better its still only a 1.8 so it took 35psi to hit this power level and my car revs to 9500 thanks guys im exited to hit the track this weekend try for a single digit pass

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
This was my last setup on a PTE6262JB Billet wheel T3 .82AR exhaust housing
83mm Golden Eagle GSR
JE Asymmetrical pistons
Manley TT
Stock port head
Supertech valve train
Comp all motor cams
The setup made 751whp and 488 lb/ft torque
Best pass on this setup was a 10.6@140 but unfortunately we were never able to turn the boost all the way up at the track before the setup met an early end to its life due to valve train complications.
Here is a pic of the dyno graph. As you can see we had some strange things going on in the high rpm range which may be a key piece of info in relation to the ultimate demise of the setup.
FWIW the turbo made great power for essentially being nothing fancy at all.

Re: any new 6262 dyno numbers?
Just started a build on a built b16 with the 6262, had to make a new account becuse i forgot my password. Should be done in the next couple of months I will post up the numbers I’m shooting for the mid 500s. I don’t foresee this being a problem.
